When... Sigma was taken people went to get him. Maine stayed behind to protect us. That's... It was in the house. Where the twins could get to it. And Sigma was hurt, by a merc. Because of a connection to a merc. So I got scared. It's why I left him.

If Sigma knowing and being friends with a mercenary got him hurt... Well, it would do worse to the kids. People would hurt them more. He could have protected us. Maybe.
