Codenames are co-ordinated, but we used them too. Contacts, on the other hand, were personal. So even if they picked up three phones, for Meg we'd have a heart and a bomb and fire, but fire on my brother's phone meant something totally different. They try to cross-reference and they end up ordering Chinese food.
