I never really liked that idea. I'll pretend to be something else, but why does romance have to be more than friendship?

Because romance is! Romance is more. A lot more. It's... warmth and kindness and the way someone looks at you. It's in hold hands and warm arms around you because they want to protect and comfort and soothe. Romance is more than friendship. There has to be friendship there, but it's more. So much more. It makes you feel so warm and when everything is at its worst you still feel like you're at your best.

Friendship is support and kindness. Romance is... moments of perfection in an otherwise sad and painful life.

I want to be your friend, and I want to come over regardless. But it's hardly kind to ask a friend to do such a thing, and I doubt the people harassing me would believe it anyway.
