There's this movie. About a clownfish who loses his son. He worries too much and it gets people hurt. I think...

Is the clownfish a bad guy? Or is it just meaning you take care of people? Or, why did he even give you one?

He gave us all gifts. The... The clownfish is too overprotective, to the point of almost irrationality. Thus his son gets hurt, and kidnapped, and almost dies in the course of everything. This ultimately starts the father on a journey to save his son. He does eventually reunite with his kid who didn't really need his protection anyway, and the father learns to be brave and accepting and maybe I guess you could say he becomes a better fish or...

Anyway. I don't know what to do.

The family would definitely remark on that. I think I'll just put it in the closet or something. After trying to explain that I still want to be friends, I don't want to return it to him. That wouldn't go well.

What do you wish he'd gotten you? Now that you guys are friends?

I don't even know anymore. I just... I wish none of this happened. I wish I was never involved with him. That would be easier.

I wish he would have given me something that made everything hurt less. Or something completely meaningless. Or nothing. Nothing would have worked.

Yep. Omega is the biggest sort of old earth culture nerd. We've seen it a number of times. I think he got a set of the whole thing for a friend.

I confess that I've never heard of it.

Do you have a really big bowl? And do you know where baking yeast comes from? The only yeast I've heard of, well, I wouldn't want to cook with it even if I had it.

Yes I can get yeast and a big bowl. I can get the flour too if you want.

Yeah I do. Comes with being a parent. I'll see to the flour, yeast and a large bowl. Can you get the other ingredients.

Of course. At least, I can wander lost in the grocery store until someone cute rescues me. 💚

It will have to be someone else. When my family moves I won't be using that store anymore.

You're moving? How far? Are you...at least staying in town?

Not too far. Just a fifteen minute drive from our old house, but that is still some distance in this city I suppose. Different school district for Theta at least. And yeah, I'm staying in town.

And even if I wasn't, we'd be penpals, TC. I promise.
